Providing excellent care for my patients requires skill, artistry, training, and experience, but most importantly, it is a physician’s integrity, which is the foundation for a patient’s trust.

You may even wish to consider your questions in advance. We invite you to visit our FAQ section to learn more about specific procedures, what to expect, the surgical process, as well as aftercare and recommendations for recovery. Not every surgeon can be your surgeon. It is important to feel heard and confident that you are sharing the same overall vision.

 The Procedure

Your surgery day has finally arrived. You will have been advised not to eat or drink anything after midnight. The morning of surgery, you will be greeted in the surgical suite, and provided with appropriate garments for your procedure. Dr. Giuffre will see you prior to your surgery to review your operation, risks, and answer any questions you may have. After a  pre-operative photograph is taken, Dr. Giuffre will use a surgical marker on your body, to plan the surgery. The operating room nurse will guide you into the operating room where your anesthetist will start an intravenous (only for general anesthetics) and put you to sleep.

The Recovery

Patients who have a general anesthetic, or a local anesthetic with conscious sedation, will be moved from the operating room into our recovery room following their surgery, for a 30 to 90 minute stay. You will be provided with a prescription for medication, to manage discomfort, and you will also be provided with Dr. Giuffre’s personal contact information should you have any questions are concerns following your surgery.

All surgical results are as individualized as our personalities.

“I saw Dr. Giuffre after having seen 3 other surgeons. He listened to all of my concerns and we knew we were on the same page and I would be excited about my results. Dr Giuffre is very matter of fact and sometimes tells you what you don’t want to hear, but it’s the truth. He stopped in to see me before my surgery which was comforting. I’m so thrilled with my results. If you want the real deal, go see Dr Giuffre. I would recommend him 100x over.”
